The Red Sox best pitcher so far is... ?

Yes, I do know this is the comedian
Steven Wright from Burlington, MA,
not the Red Sox pitcher.
Steven Wright (pictured) has a 1.40 ERA through three starts.  He's the 31-year-old journeyman knuckleballer who isn't even supposed to be in the rotation.

The other four guys, Rick Porcello (4.66), Clay Buchholz (6.33), David Price (7.06) and Joe Kelly (9.35) have allowed a total of 51 earned runs in 71 innings, a combined ERA of 6.46 through 14 outings.  One pitcher on his own would never even make it to a 14th start with an ERA like that.  If you're looking for a silver lining, the quartet has struck out 84 batters in those 71 innings, so there is hope.

Henry Owens takes the mound Sunday in place of the injured Kelly (right shoulder impingement, whatever that is), maybe the kid will turn things around.
