Winter Olympics inspired Awesome Old Song of the Week: "I Can See Clearly Now"

There's been some ridiculously warm weather in Sochi (mid 60's on Thursday), which reminded me of one of my very first winter Olympics memories:

In February of 1988 I was on vacation at Disney World with my family during the Calgary games.  One night we were watching bobsledding on TV, and they were having trouble with the track because of the unseasonable spring-like weather.  I'm not sure exactly how warm it was, but I do remember that the temperature in Canada that evening was higher than it was in Orlando.

In a fitting coincidence, that was also the debut of the Jamaican bobsledding team.  Five years later Disney made a movie out of it (Cool Runnings), which featured the song "I Can See Clearly Now" by Jimmy Cliff.  Here's the original 1972 Johnny Nash version:
