There's an Applebee's commercial I see all the time lately that shows a breakfast burger topped with a fried egg, bacon and hash browns (above). Every time I see the ad, I want that burger--bad. A burgers with a fried egg on it is just awesome, period. That got me thinking, why don't any of the mainstream fast food places offer one?
Literally the day after that idea popped into my head, I learned that McDonald's is about to start selling breakfast all day (which is awesome in its own right, but I wish it'd happened 20 years ago), so now there's no excuse.
